Norske muslimer slog fredsring om jødiske landsmænd

I lørdags dannede over tusinde norske muslimer en "fredsring" rundt om Oslos jødiske synagoge

Norske muslimer udviste i lørdags deres tolerance og sympati med det jødiske folk i Oslo ved at forme et menneskeskjold til beskyttelse af jødernes tilbedelsessted.

Demonstrationen skete i lyset af terrorangrebet i København, hvor et debatmøde om ytringsfrihed og den jødiske synagoge i Krystalgade blev angrebet af en nu pågrebet og begravet formodet gerningsmand. I alt blev to dræbt og fem mennesker såret.

Demonstrationen skulle ydermere fordømme religiøs motiveret vold og terror mod alle andre trossamfund.

Det var særligt Norges unge muslimer, som stod bag organiseringen af demonstrationen, hvor menneskeskjoldets symbolik var med til at skabe medrivende billeder under den norske aftenhimmel.
