Se billederne: Verden sætter farver på følelserne i sympati med Frankrig

I løbet af få timer efter terroren i Paris trådte det ene kendte sted efter det andet på mange forskellige kontinenter frem i ny skikkelse med farverne på det franske flag og sendte dermed solidaritet og sympati mod Frankrigs hovedstad

Ved et af de helligste steder i Israel, Grædemuren i hovedstaden Jerusalem, var der tydelige tanker om solidaritet og medfølelse i retning af Frankrig. Her ses ortodoks klædte jøder med de traditionelle hatte ved Grædemuren, som i anledning af terroren var oplyst i de franske farver blå, hvid og rød. Premierminister Benjamin Netanyahu udtalte efter angrebet i Paris, at Israel og Frankrig står skulder ved skulder i kampen mod islamisk terror.

Efter tragedien i Paris i fredags, som kostede mindst 129 mennesker livet, har ønsket om at vise solidaritet og medfølelse med ofrene og den franske nation været enormt verden over. De mest synlige solidaritetserklæringer er kommet frem der, hvor bygninger og andet er blevet lyst op i det franske flag, trikolorens, farver: blå, hvid og rød. 

Terrorangrebene fandt sted flere forskellige steder i Paris, og den radikale islamistiske terrororganisation Islamisk Stat (IS) har taget ansvaret for handlingerne. Blandt de mindst 129 ofre er mennesker fra mindst ni lande.

Efterhånden som tragediens omfang er blevet kendt jorden rundt, har tilkendegivelser af solidaritet og medfølelse strømmet mod Frankrig. Det er for eksempel sket gennem demonstrationer og fakkeltog i mange storbyer, ligesom der mange steder er opstået bjerge af blomster, beskeder og lys. På Facebook har mange brugere iklædt deres såkaldte profilbilleder et gennemsigtigt fransk flag i farverne blå, hvid og rød. Mest opsigtsvækkende har de mange oplyste bygninger dog været.
